Developed by Faculty Director Jeanne Ross and her colleagues at MIT, this online course takes a deep dive into the five foundational dimensions of digital transformation. These key dimensions help organizations leverage the capabilities provided by technology.

Data Monetization Strategy: Creating Value Through Data

Led by Faculty Director Barbara Wixom, this course investigates the I-W-S framework, which approaches data monetization in three ways: improving core business processes using data, wrapping analytics around offerings, and selling information solutions. It also explores the five data monetization capabilities: data assets, data platforms, data science, acceptable data use, and customer understanding. Participants will leave the program with a personalized data monetization strategy suited to their organizational context.

Digital Strategies for Transforming Your Business

This interactive application-focused program delivered over three days leverages MIT faculty—including Peter Weill, Barb Wixom, and Stephanie Woerner of MIT CISR—as well as guest speakers, case studies, and application exercises while providing ample opportunities for networking with peers. The course will help individual board directors and/or small teams from management boards increase their digital savviness and have more productive discussions around the opportunities and threats of the digital economy.
