Embrace the Inevitable: Six Imperatives to Prepare Your Company for Cloud Computing
Abstract
The business benefits and managerial challenges associated with cloud computing have been the subject of extensive debate and controversy. Based on a comprehensive study of adoption at forty-six companies, our assessment is that a significant shift to cloud computing is inevitable. In this briefing we describe how Allergan, Inc. has adapted to and benefited from cloud computing. We then summarize the findings from the broader research study to provide a list of six imperatives for preparing your company to benefit from cloud computing.
